The Chubby Stick range from Clinique has grown immensely
since it first released the lip collection. Since the addition of the eyes, a
selection of four colors for the cheeks has also emerged. The cute, small, and
lightweight packaging makes the sticks perfect for traveling. I’ve had my eyes
on these twist-up sticks since the summertime and I was glad to finally pick up
my own. After having some time to figure out the best method to apply and
experience the product, I’ve finally figured it out.
Perfect for the fall/winter seasons, I picked up ‘Plumped Up
Peony,’ a deep berry pink. Even in January, this color is perfect for those chilly days when a flush of color is the perfect finish to my make up look. Applying it was a bit difficult for me to figure out
– I thought I could just swipe it on and go, right? Wrong. I consulted the
Clinique specialist and she prefers to twist dots on the cheeks and blend out
and up. This method works the best for me as well and I blend the color out
with my Real Techniques cheek brush, which has a rounded flat shape. These are
perfect blushers if you’re looking for a flush of color on the cheeks.
