Peachy Keen Eyes

Thursday, July 13, 2017

I swear I wear other eyeshadows on my eyes besides my Sweet Peach palette from Too Faced. I just happen to mention it a lot on my blog and Instagram. I mean, when you have so many possibilities amongst the peach-inspired shades, can you blame me? This time, however, things went pink and I loved it.

I've already tapped into about every shadow in the palette but I wanted to utilize the pink peach shades and figure out how to make my eyes pop with all the peachy goodness I could get.

I started with White Peach on my brow bone, Georgia and Peaches & Cream from lash line to crease. These shades are the lightest in the palette but are great for setting the base of an eyeshadow look. Especially since they're matte too, they're easy to build on top of.

With my base set, I worked Just Peachy, a shimmery goldy pink, into my crease and really built up its intensity so it would be the depth in the look. I even brought the shadow up some past my crease onto my brow bone to open my eyes up. It works with my eye shape, but anyone can manipulate the placement depending on their eye shape too! Towards the end I brought Just Peachy down to my lower lash line to tie the colors together.

Next I took some of Candied Peach, a matte peach color with flecks of gold, and blended it lightly along my lash line and part of my crease. To tone down some of the pic and highlight my brow bone, I swept a bit of Nectar under my brow.

Then I took Bellini, a peachy rose gold shade (it's just amazing, let's leave it there), and patted it all over my lid as the focal color on my lids. Lastly, I took a bit of Luscious, a name that fits this shade, and blended it into my inner corner and along my lower lash line.

I finished up with my Loreal Super Slim liner and a ton of Charlotte Tilbury's Legendary Lashes, which has the best pigment for a mascara ever. I was really happy with how the look came out but I'm going to work on making the colors pop even more next time. I asked a coworker for advice and she recommended using a deeper pink shade (that can't be found in this palette) and working that into the crease next time. I still love how this came out and I'll probably wear it throughout the summer to fully embrace the warm peach tones of summer. It pairs really well with Too Faced's Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Glosses too. I wore either Peach Tease or Peach, Please, I can't remember really.

I promise to post about something else other than my Peach palette next time...maybe my Peanut Butter & Jelly hehe....
