Ah samples, they are great little pluses to the visit to any makeup counter or order from somewhere like Nordstrom or Sephora. They are a great and convenient way to try out something before you decide to buy the full size. I love samples of anything and I hope you enjoy reading my reviews. xx

CHANEL Coco Noir Eau de Parfum – This is easily my new favorite perfume. With hints of grapefruit and bergamot (my new favorite fragrance note) along with rose, jasmine, patchouli, and sandalwood, it is definitely a fragrance up my alley. I feel like Noir is more youthful compared to its more sophisticated sister, Mademoiselle.

Angels Only Eau de Parfum – Angels Only is my new favorite scent at Victoria’s Secret. I feel like it smells completely different on my skin than on a blotter card, as all perfumes typically do. I feel like this scent is so feminine, with its scents of apple blossom, freesia, and violet. I have loved wearing it and I’m glad I held onto my sample!

CHANEL Le Volume Mascara – This mascara is apparently one of the top selling ones at Chanel, but for me, I feel like I have to be very careful with the wand. It goes on nicely but if I apply one too many coats, my lashes stick together in a bad way. I have tried my hand with this one but I do not think it is for me. However, it is my mother’s new favorite, so I encourage you to try it to see how you like it!

Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter – I acquired this sample last year as my birthday gift from Sephora and until last week or so, it has been in the same spot. I just learned how to apply and blend highlighter properly and this sample has been great! I layered it over my MAC Extra Dimension Bronzer and loved the look it gave me in the end.

Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer – This primer came along with my Lorac Pro Palette I purchased recently. Since I am a girl who needs an eye primer or else my eyelids will look like a cracked desert, I was happy to try a new primer. Swearing by Urban Decay’s Primer, this was a change for me. Lorac’s is definitely more creamy – the consistency is more like lotion, but you only need a bit to cover your lids. After using it, my eye shadow stayed on for the entire day!
