TODAY with One Direction | The Outfit and Make Up

Even if it was the middle of November, Florida’s weather is never affected by the time of year. It was perfect weather for the trip and my weekend bag was full with shorts, light tops, and a single flannel, just in case. One Direction left me with the question once again: what am I going to wear? I had no expectations; my only priority was bringing something I would be comfortable in while waiting several hours outside. It was a much harder decision to make than it was back in September.

I changed outfits around three times. I finally settled on my black Urban Outfitters shorts that I wore in September to my One Direction concert, a grey/white marl sweater that I had just picked up that day from Urban as well, and for comfort, my Sam Edelman black pony hair slip-ons. The weather was perfect through the night and in the morning it got warmer as the sun came up.

Around one in the morning, I redid my makeup to give my skin a fresh look. I brought my Lorac palette along with me to Orlando. Using that, I went for a subtle eye look, using Sable all over my lid. Then I went for my favorite crease shadow, Handwritten from MAC and blended that in. I then used my new favorite eyeliner, Benefit’s They’re Real Push-up Liner all along my lash line. Mascara wise, I had brought along quite a few travel-sized ones so I would have my options. Starting with Urban Decay’s Perversion mascara, I worked that along my lashes. I then finished up with Make Up For Ever’s Smoky Extravagant mascara to thicken my lashes.

For my face I brought along another travel sized foundation. I worked Benefit’s “That Gal” primer into my skin first before moving onto foundation. Following the Benefit route, I went for my Hello Flawless! Oxygen Wow liquid foundation in ‘I’m Plush and Precious’ Petal. I love how lightweight this foundation is on my skin and how it blends and settles wonderfully. To top it all off, I used my new NARS blush I picked up that day in the shade Sin. This autumnal berry blush is beautiful and very pigmented. I only needed to swipe my brush once for enough color.

After all those hours of waiting and watching, my makeup stayed perfectly in place. Even after the three-hour nap I came back for in my hotel room!
