The Products I Didn't Like

As someone who is a self proclaimed beauty lover and has had Platinum and Rouge memberships between Ulta and Sephora for years, I've tried a lot of products...I've also gotten to try a lot because of my job. There's something nostalgic too about looking back on old products I used! Thankfully, products I've loved out weigh the ones I didn't. And after this post, they can move onto a good home!

Liquid Liner Made Easy

Oooh, eyeliner. The key to looking less tired and like you’re ready to get down to business. The question is, which one do you go for?

I started wearing eyeliner around six years ago. I still remember the day like it was yesterday. Some lady helped me find this Stila liquid liner pen that I still use to this day! It's the holy grail in my book. I probably didn’t apply it the best but hey, I learned.

Liquid liner is your friend. It’s the answer to those quick black lines above our lashes that make them look fuller and your eyes pop. You can free hand with those babies too. I’m the worst when it comes to pulling my eye to do my liner. But with my eye shape, which can differ on everyone, sometimes a little tug makes things go faster.

Lip Care Solutions

First came the Micellar water guide, now it’s time for chapstick. And lip balm. And lip masks. I’m really covering all the bases here...right down to what to put on your lips. Not only is it hard to find the perfect one, but let’s talk about trying not to lose them either. They disappear into the Land of Nothingness where all your hair ties, bobby pins, and socks go to die. Thankfully, I’m vigilant when it comes to keeping up with my various lip products so my lips don’t suffer. Prepare for yet another post where I overuse adjectives like ‘hydrating.’

Clinique Chubby Sticks for Cheeks

The Chubby Stick range from Clinique has grown immensely since it first released the lip collection. Since the addition of the eyes, a selection of four colors for the cheeks has also emerged. The cute, small, and lightweight packaging makes the sticks perfect for traveling. I’ve had my eyes on these twist-up sticks since the summertime and I was glad to finally pick up my own. After having some time to figure out the best method to apply and experience the product, I’ve finally figured it out.

MASSIVE Beauty Haul

So, I went a bit crazy this past weekend with purchasing some new beauty items to add to my collection.
