24 hours with One Direction | The Outfit and Make Up

Along with attending a concert comes the most important question: what am I going to wear?! I had since March to figure this out and I finally did in at the beginning of September. With my past experience at these types of concerts, I knew I wanted to be cool, comfortable, and able to move around a lot.
I found a long sleeved striped shirt from American Apparel, which I rolled the sleeves up to my elbows. The material was nice and thin so it kept me cool. For my bottoms I found a great pair of black denim shorts from Urban Outfitters. I had been in the market for black denim shorts and these were perfect. Made with stretchy cotton material but still a jean short to me, I was able to move around and dance along to One Direction all through the set.

For shoes, one of the most important parts, I grabbed my favorite pair of Topshop sandals. Gold plaits crisscross all over these sandals and they are one of the most comfortable and cute pairs of sandals I own. They’re getting a little on the worn side, but that just shows they’re still great for anything, right?

Of course I planned out my concert make up as well. Light foundation and lightweight products are good choices for a concert so your skin doesn’t feel weighed down, especially if it gets a bit sweaty (which is bound to happen). I chose my Chanel Vitalumière Aqua foundation and brushed on Milani Illuminating Face Powder all over for a nice glow. For my eyes I started with Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Kajal eyeliner in Black along my upper waterline. Starting on the lids, I swiped on Clique’s Chubby Stick in Bountiful Beige and then moved onto MAC Cork Eyeshadow all over my lid. For a touch of sparkle and fun on my lids, I added Chanel D’Ombre Eyeshadow in Initiation, which amped up the look quite a bit. I added a light touch of MAC Teddy eyeliner and brought along Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant mascara for my lashes.

I’ve loved this eye look recently and I thought it would be perfect for an event like this one. I’ve worn it to work and now the concert so it’s really versatile and it’s not as intimidating or time-consuming as it sounds.
